I worked on this for quite a while, off and on. I only worked on it for about a half hour at a time, so it really took me awhile to finish. Excuse my procrastination. 
I'm proud at how this turned out, actually.
I tried some new techniques and stuff, put in more detail; generally, I worked more on this peice than I did most of my stuff. Normally I'm just lazy.
I really suck at backgrounds....
So yea, comments/critique would be highly appreciated on this one.

But yea, thanks alot to those who critiqued; I went to try to mess around with a few of your suggestions, and found I forgot to save the finished thing in psp format. Therefore, I don't have the unfinished thing in layers that I can fix. T.T
So that's pretty much all I wanted to say. Yeah...lame, I know, but I hate saying I'm going to do something and then not do it unless I have an excuse. So yeah, go about your daily business...

I say don't worry about the background too much...honestly until you pointed it out I didn't really notice it. Which isn't a bad thing because it draws the lookers eyes to the actual subject.
