Well, the thing I found out is that you can't really be too afraid with colored pencils. It's better to make a hue a bit darker than to have it be grainy, and then just match the rest of the colors to that....make sure your pencil is sharp, and kind of color in a circular motion....just have fun with it, I guess, and try different things to see what works the best :B

Very very playful, this immediately captures the eye and sets the mood towards a more action-adventure type set, from my point of view anyway. The perspective is damn sweet, not to mention adds a more dynamic factor to the character. Colors are bright and go/mix together wonderfully!
